A return to Pixar’s Ratatouille could be on the horizon, with reports suggesting that a sequel is in development. The original film followed a rat who dreamed of becoming a chef and went on to achieve strong box office success. Although Disney has not officially announced a release date, the reports have already generated excitement online.

 

New research suggests that people were more satisfied with life during parts of the COVID-19 pandemic than they are today. The data shows that life satisfaction has fallen to record lows, with financial stress and rising living costs weighing heavily on households. Although there was uncertainty about health and the future during the pandemic, concerns about money were not as significant as they are today.

 

Research has found a link between spending more than six to eight hours a day on smartphones and greater financial difficulties. Excessive screen time has been associated with reduced productivity, impulse buying, and overspending. On average, we spend 5 hours and 16 minutes per day on our phones—while Gen Z averages more than six hours daily. Every hour spent scrolling is an hour not spent earning, building, learning, or investing.
