New research suggests that driving a manual vehicle may benefit the brain. The study found that driving a manual activates areas of the brain responsible for memory, attention, and decision-making more than driving an automatic. Because manual driving requires constant coordination, it keeps the brain more engaged and may provide a form of everyday cognitive exercise.
Netflix is facing backlash after introducing a change to how user profiles work. The streaming service will soon require each profile—excluding child accounts—to be linked to its own unique email address, enabling individual sign-ins.
