Tom Hanks is going to US president for the first time in an upcoming movie. He’ll be playing the role of Abraham Lincoln in a movie adaptation of Lincoln in the Bardo. The book, published in 2017, explores Lincoln grieving the loss of his son who died at the age of 11. It will be a blend of live-action and stop-motion animation, with Tom portraying a live-action version of Lincoln.

A songwriter who claims he wrote Robbie Williams’ hit Angels has revived his long-running dispute over the track nearly 30 years after its release. Ray Heffernan, who sued Robbie last year, maintains that he originally wrote the song in 1996. Robbie has previously acknowledged recording a demo with Heffernan but says he later rewrote the track substantially with another collaborator.
