Netflix is reportedly preparing to compete for broadcast rights to the Premier League. After narrowly missing out on recent UEFA deals, the company is positioning itself to take on long-established broadcasters in one of the world’s most valuable football markets. If successful, Netflix’s move into Premier League coverage could significantly reshape the battle between traditional networks and global streaming platforms.

 

A six-member family in Dubai has been ordered to leave a hotel room after living there for two years without settling their full bill. Their unpaid charges have reached AED 155,837 (OMR 16,325), with additional daily fees until they vacate. According to hotel management, the family repeatedly ignored requests to pay the outstanding balance or move out. Partial payments so far have covered only a small fraction of the costs.

 

India is considering a proposal that would require Apple to keep GPS location services permanently enabled on all iPhones sold in the country. The plan would require Apple and other smartphone makers to keep satellite-assisted GPS active at all times, removing the option for users to switch the feature off.
