A game developer for Roblox says he believes the platform’s child safety measures, including age verification checks, do not go far enough. He suggests parents should monitor their children on the platform “24/7, and if that’s not possible, then they shouldn’t be playing it.” Roblox is a platform where users can create their own games or play games made by other creators, allowing players to interact with each other.
XChat, the standalone messaging app from X, is expected to arrive this week. An App Store listing for the messaging app shows a preview of the design, including a detailed icon and a release date set for this Friday (Apr 17th). According to the app’s description, XChat will allow users to “chat with anyone on X in a private, focused space built for conversation.”
You can finally edit your Instagram comments. After posting a comment, you’ll have 15 minutes to tap the edit button to change what it says. You can only edit your own comments, but you can do it as many times as you need within those 15 minutes. The feature is rolling out globally on both iOS and Android apps.
