James Corden is reportedly paying the salaries of staff from his own pocket. He’s currently taking some time off from promoting his TV show, due to a recent eye surgery, but that hasn’t stopped him from helping out his staff. A lot of the workers on his show have had to be put on temporary leave during the pandemic, so he has vowed to pay them himself. He is said to be paying at least “five figures a week” to roughly 60 members of staff.
A new Star Wars film has been announced. This will be the twelfth instalment in the franchise. It was also revealed that a new Star Wars series is being developed for Disney+. It is not yet known when either of the projects will reach audiences.
Apple has launched an updated version of its MacBook Pro with modified keyboards. This is due to the laptop line facing criticism for typing-related problems, while boosting performance and adding storage. They received complaints of sticky, unresponsive keys and keystrokes that failed to register when tiny amounts of dust or debris accumulated under or near keys. The updated version will provide double the storage of its predecessor, with a capacity of up to 1 terabyte.
