Apple is still planning to launch new iPhones later this year. This is despite the coronavirus outbreak which has slowed down manufacturing across the world and forced Apple to temporarily shut down all its retail stores outside of China. A new report says that the next iPhone — which could be called the iPhone 12 is on schedule to launch in September.

 

Facebook has pledged $100 million to support the news industry during the coronavirus crisis. $25 million will be granted to local news funding through its Facebook Journalism Project, as well as $75 million in additional marketing spending. The goal is “to move money over to news organizations around the world”.


American Idol is the latest show to abandon filming in the studio for the remainder of the current season, but they are considering other options to continue production. The Walking Dead’ Season 10 finale has also been affected with producers saying that post-production is delayed. There is  a special episode planned for later in the year though.
