Oman Lens has won the Bronze Award in the AI and Space Computing Challenge, held under the AI for Good initiative by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and leading international AI and space organizations.
Competing against more than 60 teams worldwide over six months, Oman Lens earned a place among the Top 10 global teams in the Zero Hunger track, which uses AI, satellite imagery, and space data to improve agricultural analysis and food security. The team finished less than 0.02 points behind first place.
The achievement highlights Oman Lens’ expertise in artificial intelligence, geospatial data, and space technologies, while showcasing Omani talent on the global stage. The company will be honored at the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva this July.
