Muscat Municipality issued a statement, saying that it will take legal action against people who have spread misinformation about the upcoming Comic Con event.
The Municipality said that the false information that was shared, sparked confusion and unwarranted criticism, and it assured the public that all events will adhere to local customs, values and morals.
