Amouage, the independent Omani High Perfumery House unveiled an exclusive six-week seasonalafé at Alila Jabal Akhdar, open until the 17th of November 2024. The café is perched on the breathtaking Jabal Deck terrace at the edge of a two-thousand-metre cliff in Oman’s majestic Hajar Mountains, this spectacular limited-time experience promises an unforgettable culinary adventure that intertwines perfumery, art and fine dining.

Inspired by Amouage’s latest masterful fragrance, Guidance 46 Exceptional Extrait, the café’s menu is inspired by key ingredients such as rose, pear, hazelnut, saffron and vanilla, crafting them into avant-garde culinary creations that reimagine fragrance and flavour. Most of the organic ingredients used, including heirloom tomatoes, strawberries and olives, are harvested from Alila’s own 646 sqm hydroponic garden, the first of its kind for any resort and hotel in the country. Emphasising freshness, every dish unfolds into an expression of art that nourishes both body and spirit.

Crafted by the resort’s Chef Pankaj Walia, each item on the four-course set menu, from the Alila Garden Surprise to the Chocolate Opulence, reflects Amouage’s savoir-faire and craftsmanship, paying homage to the brand’s rich artisanal heritage. The café also offers innovative mocktails like Jabal Bloom and Serene Sights infused with some of Amouage’s signature ingredients including rose and frankincense, offering a creative spin on traditional drinks. Enhancing the multi-sensory experience, the menu is presented on beautifully decorated cards featuring artwork by Omani illustrator and conceptual artist Ruqaiya Mazar.

The Amouage Café at Alila Jabal Akhdar, a 15 degrees cooler serene escape, will be open until the 17th of November, operating daily from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The set menu offers a curated selection of appetisers, soup, main courses and desserts. Due to limited seating, visitors are advised to pre-book their table by contacting +968 9356 3140.
