Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) returns for its 29th edition from 2 July to 30 August 2026, bringing more than 60 days of shopping, entertainment, dining and family experiences under the theme “Make it a Dubai Summer.”
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the festival will feature citywide retail promotions, live concerts, family attractions, hotel offers, dining deals and major prize draws.
The opening weekend (2-5 July) will include concerts by Saif Al Ali, Arqam Al Abri, Rahma Riad and Nassif Zeytoun, alongside performances including Samratna, the Assem Sukkar Spacetoon Concert and the Kuwaiti comedy Khairan Resort.
Family favourites Modesh and Dana return throughout the festival, while Modesh World will run at Dubai World Trade Centre from 3 July to 23 August.
New additions this year include the DSS Luxe Edition, Back-to-School Carnival, SME pop-ups and the DSS Performance Arts Fest.
Dining highlights include Summer Restaurant Week (13 July-2 August) and the return of the AED10 Dish promotion (3-30 August).
Entertainment includes the fifth season of Beat the Heat concerts at Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring Cairokee, Dystinct, Issam Najjar, Sultan Murshed, Talal Sam, Rasha Rizk, Al Shami and Leen Hayek, while Miami Band will headline the festival’s closing weekend at Coca-Cola Arena on 29 August.
Retail highlights include the Great Dubai Summer Sale, Back-to-School promotions, Daily Surprises, flash sale weekends and the “Win Your Home in Dubai” campaign, offering shoppers the chance to win one of 12 residential units.
Visitors can also take advantage of hotel and attraction offers, family-focused activities, indoor fitness events and Dubai Mallathons throughout the summer.
