Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has announced the return of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026, inviting residents and visitors across the GCC to “Make it a Dubai Summer” from 2 July to 30 August. Spanning 60 days, the citywide festival will feature an extensive programme of shopping, entertainment, dining and family-friendly experiences, alongside exclusive offers across hotels, attractions, restaurants and retail destinations.
This year’s edition promises the most value-packed DSS yet, headlined by major retail events including the Great Dubai Summer Sale, offering discounts of up to 90 per cent, and Back to School promotions running throughout August. Shoppers will also have the chance to participate in the new “Win Your Home in Dubai” campaign, with 12 residential units from Binghatti Developers up for grabs.
Entertainment highlights include the return of the Beat the Heat DXB concert series, the Miami Musical Show at Coca-Cola Arena, and the debut of the DSS Performing Arts Fest across selected malls. Family favourites such as Modesh World will also return, while new experiences include the first-ever Back-to-School Carnival.
Food lovers can look forward to Summer Restaurant Week and the popular 10 Dirham Dish promotion, while fitness enthusiasts can take part in Summer Mallathons. Throughout the season, malls, hotels and attractions across Dubai will host themed activations and immersive experiences designed to enhance the summer atmosphere.
With a strong focus on value, rewards and citywide experiences, DSS 2026 aims to deliver an exciting summer programme for residents and visitors alike, with additional event details set to be announced in the coming weeks.
