Oman’s Government Communications Centre (GCC) has stated that the Wilayat of Muttrah will remain under sanitary isolation as lockdown measures are lifted on Muscat Governorate.
In a statement issued online today [Wednesday, May 27] the GCC clarified that the decision to lift the health closure on the Governorate of Muscat includes the opening of the governorate, but with an emphasis on the continuation of sanitary isolation in the Wilayat of Muttrah.
Today, Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 announced that lockdown measures in Muscat Governorate would end on Friday, May 29, with the public sector instructed to now operate with 50 per cent of employees back at the office starting from Sunday, May 31.
