Oman’s Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has announced the closure of a pharmacy in Barka after it was allegedly found to have illegally increased the price of face-masks.
In a statement announced online today [Saturday, May 23], the PACP said that the infraction took “advantage of the needs of customers” after the Supreme Committee for COVID-19’s decision on Thursday [May 21], which requires the compulsory use of face-masks in public.
