Oman’s National Program for Postgraduate Studies will undergo a one-year suspension in light of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, Oman’s Government Communications Centre (GCC) announced today [Monday, May 18].

In a statement issued online by the GCC, the authority elaborated that the decision to suspend the program for the academic year 2020/2021 was taken with a view to the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and the “global circumstances resulting from the spread of coronavirus, and its impact on educational institutions around the world.”
