As airlines in the Sultanate continue to operate special flights to help repatriate citizens and residents of Oman, a number of departures are scheduled for the week ahead for those seeking a way home.
The country’s flag-carrier, Oman Air, has announced a series of five special flights to Asia scheduled for departure between July 27 and August 2 at the following roster:
July 27: Chittagong, Bangladesh
July 28: Dhaka, Bangladesh
July 28: Colombo, Sri Lanka
July 31: Chittagong, Bangladesh
Aug 2: Kathmandu, Nepal
Passengers wishing to avail a seat on any of the above-mentioned departures are advised to contact the airline directly at the contact details in the Tweet below.
Oman Air has also announced a special flight to Jakarta, Indonesia on July 28, and another to Beirut, Lebanon on August 2.
Low-cost carrier SalamAir has also announced two special flights to Pakistan scheduled to depart this week.
A round-trip flight from Muscat to Islamabad is scheduled for July 30, with a second departure for Lahore on the roster for August 2.
The airline will also operate a schedule of special flights to Egypt this week at the schedule below:

Finally, the Indian Embassy in Oman has announced three additional flights to repatriate its nationals under Phase 4 of the Republic’s Vande Bharat mission this week.
Two flights from Muscat to Trivandrum, Kerala have been scheduled for departure on July 27 and 31, while a third flight to Chennai, Tamil Nadu is scheduled for July 30.
Indian passengers short-listed to fly will be contacted by a representative from the Embassy to coordinate arrangements for travel.
