Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the death of a 65-year-old Omani citizen suffering from COVID-19 who succumbed to complications from the virus this morning [Friday, May 22].
In a statement issued online, the MoH has confirmed that the country’s COVID-19 fatality rate has risen to 31.
The Ministry has offered its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
