#BREAKING: 76-year-old citizen marks Oman’s 36th COVID-19 fatality

Oman’s Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the death of a 76-year-old Omani citizen suffering from COVID-19 novel coronavirus this evening [Saturday, May 23].

In a statement issued online, the MoH confirmed that the number of COVID-19 fatalities in the Sultanate now stands at 36.

The Ministry has extended its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.

Today, Oman announced 463 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number in the country to 7,257.
