AWASR was awarded “Company of the Year – Telecom Sector” at the Times of Oman Business Leadership Summit 2025, held on December 2 at the St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Mohammed bin Thuwaini Al Said.
The summit, organized by Muscat Media Group and Gulf Leaders Circle, gathered government officials, CEOs, and industry leaders to discuss economic resilience, sustainability, innovation, AI, and leadership in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
During the Times Business Leadership Awards ceremony, AWASR was recognized for its national leadership in digital connectivity, fibre network expansion, and contributions to Oman’s digital transformation. Badriya Al Ismaili, VP of HR & Support Services, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
CEO Eng. Adnan bin Mohammed Al Alawi emphasized the company’s commitment to reliable connectivity, innovative technologies, and continued alignment with Oman’s digital future. The summit underscored the importance of collaboration and strategic leadership in driving future growth.
