Following the rains that were witnessed across the country, police have reported that one child died yesterday, after the car he was in was swept away by a wadi on the Izki-Sinaw road.
The ROP managed to rescue four other passengers who were also in the car, and they were transferred to Ibra Referral Hospital for treatment.
In a separate incident, authorities had also airlifted two people to safety, after they were trapped in Wadi Bani Hani, and following these incidents, officials once again, reminded the public to avoid crossing wadis during rainy weather.
