U.S. Embassy notifies citizens in Oman on absentee ballot procedures

U.S. citizens residing in Oman who have received absentee ballots will be able to drop them at the U. S. Embassy for inclusion in the November 3, 2020 presidential election.

In a statement issued online, the Embassy has confirmed that absentee ballots can be dropped at their visitor entrance Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. up until September 28 and will be mailed on behalf of the Embassy via diplomatic pouch.

For U.S. citizens who have received an absentee ballot, you can mail it yourself or drop it in the ballot box at the Embassy’s visitor entrance on Mondays and Tuesdays 8-11 a.m. through September 28.
