It looks like Twitter could be history soon after Elon Musk announced they are ditching the bird logo and will rebrand the social media platform to the letter X. Announcing the changes, the company’s new CEO confirmed they will be moving quickly into payments, banking and commerce. Twitter’s bird logo has been part of the company since it’s launch in 2006.
The new Barbie movie is performing well at the global box office. The movie, which opened internationally last week has so far taken a total of $337 million worldwide. Movie experts predict that Barbie could cross the $1 billion mark before too long. So far, the only movie to reach that milestone this year at the worldwide box office is Super Mario.
A stealthy asteroid, the size of a 20-story building, flew closer to Earth than the moon, surprising astronomers as it went unnoticed until last week due to the glare of the sun. It was a 200-foot-wide space rock travelling at a remarkable speed and staying hidden from telescopes as it neared from the sun’s direction. Experts say it wasn’t large enough to be considered a potentially hazardous object.
