A rare first generation iPhone from 2007 has been sold at auction for more than $190,000. The 4GB model was still in its factory wrapping and was in exceptional condition. The auctioneer described the device as a “popular high-end collectible” and “exceedingly rare”. The 4GB model was discontinued shortly after it was launched due to slow sales and the release of an 8GB model.
