When you get into a new relationship how soon does it take you to say ‘I love you’? Scientists have revealed the average time it takes couples to say the ‘love’ word – and claim men are more likely to say it first. According to the researchers, on average, men say those three special words 3.5 months into a relationship. Women tend to wait slightly longer, confessing their feelings after four months.
Music bosses are said to be panicking over new a AI generated John Lennon song released 40 years after his death. Artificial-intelligence technology has been used to clone his voice from a 1978 demo so that he could complete the song, which will be released later this year. Images of him performing the track have been shared on social media. Record label bosses are worried that they could lose control of the output of some of their biggest acts.
A new study has shown that playing puzzles on your smartphone as you age could give you the short-term memory of someone in their twenties. Researchers analysed 181 people aged between 60 and 81 and were asked about the digital games they played, such as crosswords, online quizzes and sudoku. They were asked to complete a test of their working memory and older people who said they played puzzles online performed almost as well in the test as the people aged between 18 to 30 who did not play digital games.
