Oman’s National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center warned that the Sultanate will be affected by a trough of low pressure area, starting from today and lasting several days. Clouds, thundershowers, fresh winds, and wadis are expected over Musandam and North Al-Batinah, with cloudy weather over South Al-Batinah, Muscat, Al Buraimi, Al-Dakhiliya, Al-Dhahira, and North and South Al Sharqiyah.

The Civil Aviation Authority called on everyone to exercise precaution during the rain, and to avoid venturing into wadis. They also called on people to check the state of the sea before sailing.
