The Sultanate Transports Aid and Rescue Teams to Earthquake-affected Turkey and Syria, Turkish Embassy Accepting Donations

Under orders from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Oman is operating an air bridge to transport relief and medical materials to areas in Turkey and Syria that are affected by Monday’s earthquake.

The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) is also participating in search and rescue efforts in southern Turkey, and a team left today via the Royal Air Force of Oman.

The Turkish Embassy in Muscat will also be transporting aid via Turkish Airlines, and it will be accepting donations at the embassy, which is located in Shatti Al Qurum.
