The Sultanate to See Partial Solar Eclipse Next Week!

The Oman Astronomical Society said that Oman will witness a partial solar eclipse on Tuesday, October 25th.

According to an expert from the society, the partial solar eclipse will start at 2:50 pm local time until 4:58 pm, and it is expected to reach its peak at 3:57 pm.

The expert said that if skies are clear, everyone should be able to watch it using the appropriate monitoring tools, and he added that countries in various parts of the globe, including those in Europe, Western Asia and Northeast Africa should be able to watch the astronomical event too.

He also stressed on the importance of using special viewing tools, to protect the eyesight of the observers.
