Michael Jackson has been named the highest-paid deceased celebrity of 2025, earning an estimated $105 million. The boost comes from a $600 million deal with Sony last year, selling half of his master recordings and publishing rights while securing higher royalties on the rest. His legacy also continues on stage, with MJ: The Musical running in five countries and Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE with 5,000 Las Vegas performances.

 

Chris Columbus, the director of the Home Alone movies isn’t planning another sequel. He said the magic of the original films can’t be recreated, and trying to repeat the success of a 35-year-old classic would be a mistake. He explained that Home Alone 2 made sense because it followed the first film so closely and featured the same cast.

 

Sleeping in total darkness isn’t just good for rest—it may protect your heart, too. New research links bright bedroom lights at night to a higher risk of cardiovascular problems. People exposed to strong light while sleeping had a 56% greater risk of heart failure. Their risk of coronary artery disease rose by 32%, and stroke risk by 28%. Turning off the lights could be a simple way to support both sleep and heart health.
