Sony will begin phasing out support for the PlayStation 4 early next year. After more than a decade, the PS4 will make way as Sony shifts focus fully to the PS5. The console remains one of the best-selling ever, with iconic games and a massive community. While it will still be playable, online features, updates, and some services will gradually disappear.
Elon Musk is launching XChat, a new encrypted messaging feature on X – and no phone number is needed. It supports one-on-one and group chats, disappearing messages, file sharing, and audio/video calls, all built on a “Bitcoin-style” Rust architecture. Currently in beta for select users, it will roll out more widely soon.
