Brad and Angelina Jolie have finally reached an agreement on selling their massive $164million estate in France. Brad Pitt recently filed a lawsuit against Angelina and accused her of trying to cut him out of a deal to sell her shares of the property. According to court documents, they have agreed to lift a temporary restraining order on their assets. This now allows them to sell their possessions owned during their marriage, giving Angelina a chance to sell off her share of the estate.
The battle for the legal ownership of Spider-Man continues, with both Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures potentially losing the rights to the character by 2023. Sony Pictures acquired the film rights for Spider-Man in the late 1990s, and have held onto the property ever since. Despite occasional bust ups, Marvel and Sony have mutual compromise that allows joint ownership of Spider-Man, but those rights are in dispute once again. If Marvel loses them, other iconic Marvel characters such as Iron Man and Doctor Strange could also be in jeopardy.
William Shatner is reportedly going to become the oldest person to fly into space on board Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin rocket. He portrayed Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise but has never been into space. He’s 90 years old now and is set to be part of the second crew to fly into space in October. It’s a 15-minute flight with the entire mission being filmed for a documentary.
