Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered 59 well-preserved and sealed coffins that were buried more than 2,500 years ago. The dramatic find was unearthed in a Unesco World Heritage site south of Cairo. The coffins date back to the late period of ancient Egypt, from about the sixth or seventh century BC.

 

The New Zealand passport is now the most powerful in the world. The Passport Index shows that New Zealand currently has visa-free access, or visa on entry, to 129 countries. Japan has slipped back to second with 128 alongside a host of other nations: Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Ireland, South Korea and Australia.
