Actress Charlize Theron says that countries have to start sharing vaccines if we are to reach the World Health Organization’s goal of vaccinating 70% of the planet next year. She has joined a social justice organisation and wants the World Trade Organisation to agree a waiver on vaccine patents – so that countries can manufacture their own jabs.
Scientists think they may have discovered the first known planet outside of our own galaxy. It’s known as the Whirlpool Galaxy and is 28 million light years away. This is thousands of times further than any other exoplanet previously found in the Milky Way. The new planet, they say, is “roughly the size of Saturn” but needs more data to verify the discovery.
Photoshop and Illustrator are getting new tools and lots of new features to enhance creativity. Photoshop on desktop will be improved with an updated Object Selection Tool that lets you select an object by just hovering over it on the image. There’s also a new Mask All Objects option in the Layer settings. This will let you generate masks for all the objects detected within your layer with a single click.
