The bomber jacket worn by Tom Cruise in the movie Top Gun is up for auction. It’s expected to go for the equivalent of 7,000 OMR. More than 900 items of film and TV memorabilia will be sold off to collectors in December. Other highlights include Michael J. Fox’s jacket from Back To The Future Part II, Tom Hanks’ helmet from Saving Private Ryan, and Russell Crowe’s shield from Gladiator. One of the most expensive items is the lightsaber used by Ewan McGregor in Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith – which could fetch the equivalent of 60,000 OMR.
Microsoft has released a new version of its Xbox app for the iPhone and iPad which allows Xbox gamers to play their consoles remotely. The Xbox app is similar to the PS4 Remote Play app, enabling PlayStation users to stream their games to an Apple device over WiFi. It comes ahead of Microsoft’s two new Xbox consoles next month, and Apple ‘s new iPhone 12 models.
Yesterday we announced that Demi Lovato has claimed to make contact with outer space. Today, Miley Cyrus is the latest star to think she has had an encounter with aliens. She insists she once had an ‘experience’ in which she and her friend were ‘chased down by some sort of UFO. She added that she’s pretty sure about what she saw and the experience was so shocking that it left her unable to ‘look at the sky’ for days, because she feared the extra-terrestrials might return.
