An unopened, factory-sealed first-generation iPhone has just sold for more than $39,000 at an auction in the US. The phone’s final bidding price was $39.330 which is almost 65 times more than the original price. When it was first released 15 years ago it came with 8GB storage and a 2-megapixel camera.

 

Bosses at Netflix are said to be concerned over the backlash to the latest series of The Crown. The new series covers the years from 1991 to 1997, and will include details of Diana’s controversial interview with the BBC. A production source said that media outrage over inaccuracies, and the bad timing – so close to the death of the Queen – has got Netflix worried.

 

Apple have announced new iPad Pro models. The 11- and 12.9-inch tablets will feature a new chip that would make the tablets 20% faster than previous versions. This means that Apple is basically putting a chip designed for a PC into an iPad.
