Tina Turner is the latest musician to sell the rights to her music after striking a deal with a music firm. She has given over her share of her recordings, her publishing writers share, her name, image and likeness. The sale of her back catalogue forms part of wider plans to create a “21st century home for the most iconic music rights in popular music history”.
Ed Sheeran and Elton John have announced they are collaborating on a new Christmas single this year. It was Elton who reached out to Ed Sheeran and even though he admitted that it wasn’t his usual style he was eventually persuaded to take on the collaboration.
Fans of Games of Thrones are excited as a new trailer of House Of The Dragon is giving a first look at the new Game Of Thrones prequel. House Of The Dragon launches next year, and is set 200 years before the fall of the Iron Throne. Viewers have been told to expect Gods, kings, fire and blood.
