Apple is planning to drop the voice command “Hey Siri”. Reports say they are working on a change in the trigger command for it’s voice assistant to just “Siri”. They say that dropping the word “Hey” will allow users to give more back to back commands and aims to make the process a bit simpler.
Meanwhile, they also say there could be a delay of the the latest iPhone 14 models after the area where they are produced in China was locked down over Covid fears. They said customers should expect longer wait times to receive new products as they now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max shipments. Anti-Covid measures were introduced on the factory after outbreaks of the virus.
Users of Instagram in certain parts of the world will now see new age verification tools as part of a major safety update to protect children. They say that some users who try to edit their date of birth by changing it from under the age of 18 to over 18 will have to verify their age through ID or a video selfie. This will then be examined by independent age estimation technology.
