Congratulations to K-pop band BTS who have taken four of the big prizes at the MTV Europe Music Awards. They picked up awards for best song, best group, best virtual live, and biggest fan base. The boyband continues to build its loyal following despite the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. Three months ago their song Dynamite became the most viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours, with 101 million views in a day.

 

WhatsApp is to introduce a new feature that will make messages disappear after seven days. When the feature is turned on, new messages sent within a chat will automatically delete after seven days to help the conversation feel lighter and more private. It can be used by either a one-to-one chat – and in groups. Admins will have control over whether the feature is on or off.

 

Thai Airways International is looking for potential buyers for almost three dozen used Boeing and Airbus jets as part of the their efforts to restructure $15.4 billion of debt. The planes will go to the highest bidder and prospective buyers have until Nov 13th to submit their bids. The aircraft sale is part of Thai Airways’ business reorganisation proceedings, under which the carrier will need to decrease their fleet size.
