It has been confirmed that script work has begun on the long-awaited Sister Act 3. The original Sister Act movie starred Whoopi Goldberg and became a classic family comedy of the early 1990s. Whoopi is confirmed to be producing the film and returning as it’s main star. The remainder of the cast is unconfirmed.
WhatsApp has introduced a new ‘Happy Diwali’ sticker pack to help users send greetings to each other. It’s available for Android and iOS and can be downloaded for free from the default sticker tray. It might be a while before it shows up so if you can’t see it, try to check if an update is pending.
Facebook is shutting down its facial recognition system, which automatically identifies users in photos and videos. Critics say facial recognition technology could compromise users privacy and target marginalised groups. The news also comes as Facebook has been scrutinised from regulators and lawmakers over user safety and a wide range of abuses on its platforms.
