The creator of Squid Games has now confirmed there are ‘talks’ with Netflix for a new season. After previously saying that he has no immediate plans for another series, he has now offered a glimmer of hope by onfirming that ‘talks’ are happening. He’s quoted saying that discussions are inevitable because it’s been such a success so he is considering it.
The word ‘Vax’ has been chosen as the word of the year by the Oxford English Dictionary. Various words related to vaccines have spiked this year due to Covid, with double-vaxxed, unvaxxed and anti-vaxxer all seeing a surge in use. Vax and vaxx are both accepted spellings but the one with one x is more common. Vaccinate and vaccination both ultimately come from the Latin word vacca, which means cow.
The latest James Bond movie, No Time to Die, has reached another box office milestone by making more than $600 million worldwide. Backed by positive reviews and the fact it’s the end of an era for Daniel Craig, No Time to Die has done fairly well, even though it was a bit behind projections when it was first released. Movie experts say this could be because older audiences were reluctant to return to the cinema.
