Taylor Swift is now free to re-record all of her own original music following a very public battle with her former producers Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun. Last year there was a controversial $300 million acquisition, with Scott purchasing the rights to six of Taylor’s albums. Now her contract has ended, this means she can now legally be allowed re-record copycat versions of all her old songs.


The late Whitney Houston has become the first Black artist to earn a third diamond-certified album. It has been announced that her 1987 album, “Whitney,” has reached diamond status which is equivalent to selling 10 million albums. This is the album that features the songs I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me), Didn’t We Almost Have It All, So Emotional and Where Do Broken Hearts Go.


Former spice girl Mel B has reportedly asked her ex Eddie Murphy to contribute more child support for their 13-year-old daughter, Angel. She has seen her earnings dramatically reduced after she was hit hard financially this year due to the pandemic. She was hoping to hit it big again as the Spice Girls’ reunion tour had proved to be very lucrative but this year has been the complete opposite with live entertainment cancelled around the world.
