George Clooney has given 14 of his closest friends $1 million in cash for helping him early in his career. He hasn’t revealed who is in the group of friends, but they are known collectively as “The Boys.” He decided to give the $14 million away after getting a large paycheck from the sci-fi thriller, Gravity.
A Pirates of the Caribbean petition to bring back Johnny Depp has hit more than 300,000 signatures. The franchise fell flat with its fifth movie Dead Men Tell No Tales, which introduced new characters and was heavily criticised. Disney announced they going to do a reboot with a sixth movie that wouldn’t include Johnny as Jack Sparrow. It’s a role Johnny has played since 2003.
Mel Gibson has confirmed that Lethal Weapon 5 is currently being worked on. The previous four movies ran from 1987 to 1998 with Mel Gibson starring alongside Danny Glover. Earlier this year movie bosses said that Lethal Weapon 5 was possibly coming back to the big screen for another outing. Both actors are ‘ready to go’, but the script for the project still needs to be finished.
