Millions of Taylor Swift fans tried to access Live Nation Entertainment Inc’s Ticketmaster website the other day seeking seats for her first tour in five years. Due to the sheer volume of traffic fans were met with periodic outages and long online waits that often ended in disappointment. The site crashed multiple times with fans reporting waiting in online queues of up to eight hours, and many finding they were too late to purchase tickets.
