Dwayne won’t be starring in the Christmas-themed film Red One as Santa Claus. It’s an upcoming holiday movie from Amazon Studios’ that Dwayne Johnson stars in but he won’t be playing father Christmas following earlier reports he was set to play Santa. Very few details have been announced as to the specifics of the plot or what will classify it as a holiday film. Movie bosses say that instead of Santa Claus he will be playing “something really awesome” instead.
Movie star Alec Baldwin is calling for film and TV production companies that use guns to hire police officers to “monitor weapons safety” on the set. He made the statement on social media as police continue to investigate the shooting on the set of the Western film Rust. Halyna Hutchins was accidentally shot and killed when a gun he was holding went off during filming.
An original Apple computer, hand-built by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak 45 years ago, was put up for auction yesterday. The Apple-1, a fully functioning computer was expected to fetch up to $600,000. It’s one of only 200 made at the very start of the company in 1976.
