Ed Sheeran has said he will quit music if he’s found guilty of copying a Marvin Gaye song and has branded the copyright trial insulting. He is accused of lifting a four-chord progression from the song Let’s Get it On in his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’. Sheeran is being sued for a whopping $100million. If he is found liable, there will be a second trial to determine the damages amount.

 

Hollywood film makers are being attacked online for another 90s remake following the announcement of a reboot of White Men Can’t Jump. The first film was released in 1992 and starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes telling the story of two rival street basketball players who join forces to win a neighbourhood tournament. Social media users this week mocked the most recent trailer and accused studio bosses of being ‘out of ideas’.

 

Michael J Fox has suggested that he believes his partying in the 1980s could have caused damage to his health. He’s currently living with Parkinson’s disease and claims it could be down to lots of hard partying back in the day. He was first diagnosed with the disease when he was 29 and tried to keep it secret for a number of years.
