Jennifer Lopez is to be executive producer on a new limited series based on Cinderella. The plan is to develop several original projects which includes another classic, the Wizard of Oz. As part of the deal, she will also star in at least one of the screen adaptations.
Zac Efron has said that he’s interested in a reboot of ‘High School Musical’. The first film premiered on the Disney Channel back in 2006 and launched his career. He then went on to star in two more movies, with the third installment in 2008. There are currently no plans for a new movie but Zac has said he will be up for it should it happen.
Jennifer Gray is to return in a sequel of the 1988 movie Dirty Dancing, and she wants Harry Styles to be part of it too. She said that the upcoming film will have “dancing and lots of music’ and feels Harry would be perfect for the role that Patrick Swayze played in the first film. Directors of the new movie say they want to introduce this story to a whole new generation.
