Elton John has admitted that he can’t wait to retire one of his most popular songs at the end of his tour. He said that after performing it for the past five decades the song has become “tiresome” and claims that the last time he has to sing Crocodile Rock, he will probably throw a party.
Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime TV show is coming to an end next year after season 19. News of the show’s end comes after it was reported last year about allegations of a toxic workplace environment. It has also been reported that since then, the show has seen a drop of more than a million viewers. This prompted an internal investigation and the dismissal of a number of key executives.
It might be a surprise she isn’t already in there, but Tina Turner is about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Carole King. Tina Turner is entering the Hall of Fame for the second time, but this will be the first time as a solo artist. The last time she was inducted it was along with her former songwriting partner Gerry Goffin in 1990 as a non-performer, while Tina Turner entered in 1991 as half of the Ike & Tina Turner duo.
