The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is coming back to the cinema 20 years after it was released, this time as an extended edition. At four hours and 20 minutes, the runtime is a lot longer than the original three hours and 20 minute runtime. The extension is due to important scenes that were not included in the original release.

 

Woolly mammoths could be real animals once again in a couple of years. It’s all thanks to the efforts of scientists who are in the process of reincarnating the ice age beast with a plan to bring it back in as little as four years. Woolly mammoths roamed across the globe until they disappeared and became extinct around 4,000 years ago.

 

Music acts such as Pink, The Killers and U2 have reportedly been asked to perform at a mega concert this summer in support of Ukraine. Stars are being lined up for a charity gig on June 24th which will be televised worldwide in a bid to send a strong message to Russia. The event will follow the template of Live Aid which raised millions for Ethiopian famine victims in 1985.
