Adele has announced she is extending her Las Vegas residency, despite previously admitting she wanted to quit performing forever. She was set to finish her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace at the weekend, but has now revealed she will be returning in June. It will also be filmed and made available for fans around the world who haven’t been able to attend.
Twitter is rumoured to be testing an option to let its blue tick buyers choose if they wish to display their verification badges on their account or hide it. Twitter will soon be removing legacy blue ticks and is rolling out more options to customise profiles for people who have paid to get their blue ticks. Twitter has not officially disclosed details around the launch of this feature.
The US state of Utah has banned social media for those under the age of 18 unless they have parental consent. Legislation was signed last week officially prohibiting minors using social media without the permission of their parents. These new laws also give parents access to their children’s private messages and posts in an effort to increase transparency into social media’s effects on the youth.
