New images from the new Top Gun: Maverick have appeared online. This is the long-awaited sequel to the original 1986 movie and is one of several Tom Cruise projects that has been heavily delayed by the pandemic. Maverick was originally set to debut in the summer of 2019 bur production delays pushed the date back before Covid halted everything.
All movies starring Keanu Reeves have been removed from streaming platforms in China following his support for Tibet. He tool part in a concert organised by a non-profit founded by the Dalai Lama. In January, he received heavy criticism from Chinese social media users, some of whom called for a boycott of his work in China, after it emerged that he planned to appear in the concert virtually.
Apple could be setting a subscription model for future hardware products including iPhones. If a subscription model is introduced, customers wouldn’t own Apple products, but instead they would pay a monthly fee to use Apple products, like a person paying rent. Rumours suggest it’s still in development, but could reportedly launch by next year.
