Disney has confirmed a Peter Pan live-action remake has started filming. It will star Alexander Molony as Peter Pan and Jude Law as Captain Hook. Originally it was set to begin production in Canada April 2020, but the project was put on hold due to the pandemic. The new movie, Peter Pan & Wendy will stream exclusively on Disney+ and premieres in 2022.
Facebook could be working on a version of Instagram for children under 13. If the plan goes ahead this will allow them to “safely” use Instagram for the first time. Facebook have previously said that although new users were asked to enter their age when signing up for Instagram, there was nothing to prevent people from making it up at registration. They are also planning to roll out some new safety features preventing adults from messaging users under the age of 18.
Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has said he has plans to run for the Philippines presidency in the 2022 national elections. He’s quoted as saying that he would like to fight a couple of more times and then make the run for president. It should be an easy transition from boxer to president as he has been a senator in the Philippines for the past four years.
